Trivia

The services are quite old and the bridge is very dodgy indeed. The hotel opened on the 1st June 2008, although one had been planned here for many years.

On the 12th May 2006 a Starbucks Coffee facility (along with Coffee Primo) was added to the westbound side. It's the first Starbucks to be built on the motorway network (although one has subsequently opened at various extra services. Eastbound traffic can access it via a pedestrian's footbridge). The services were also the first to get a Coffee Primo.

As part of a joint move between Warwickshire Police and Welcome Break, Corley was the first (and one of the only) services to have a permanent Police Community Support Officer. Welcome Break have noted that car crime has fallen since.

Survey Results

In 2008 the westbound services won a five star loo award.

In 2006 and again in 2007, Corley's petrol station won a five star loo award. The services got a four star.

In 2006 Holiday Which? rated Corley as 3/5.

Corley eastbound services are hell on earth. Food overpriced and disgusting (just had reconstituted bangers, mash & peas - none of it fresh, none of it of this planet) accompanied by constant loud scraping of chairs. Unless you can bring lots of annoying people with you to get your own back - and your own food - I suggest you avoid.
