Here's another one, with the picture on the left showing the front of the northbound services. The prospect of being greeted at the door may seem like a novelty today, but it was the standard back then, which shows not only how exciting motorway services were but how quiet they must have been. Comparing this with the first and ninth photos, the services really haven't grown at all.
