Birthdays have made their name selling cards in shopping centres and, until recently, Moto service stations. When Motorway Services Online first started collecting information Birthdays had ten stores accross the M1, M4 and M, and now this has been reduced to only one.
The reason for this is that other brands, such as WH Smith do the job a lot better and they've taken over a lot of the space. And how many people celebrate a birthday on the motorway anyway?
