Carlisle southbound.

£3.19 for a machine coffee. When I took the lid of milk was congealed. I am fed up with being ripped off by these operators who moan about increased costs of operating at a services. I have no sympathy and this is wheeled out far too often.

The profit goes to pay for executive share options no doubt. Don't worry about the customers we can choose to go 28 miles down to Tebay. No wonder they are busy. They are not cheap but they are quality and service i good.

I am furious!

DISGUSTING place looks dirty even when is empy at nite. ONE OF THE POOREST service I have ever experienced. No point even to write a review as seems the company doesn't even bother reading the reviews
I would recomend to avoid at all cost this company. Once I had a meal . Second time just order a coffee and and they can't even do that right .

It was my considerable mis fortune to choose to stop at Hilton Park SW services for an light dinner.
It has to be one of the easiest dishes to get right.
But
My fisk and chip supper was truly the most disgusting meal I have ever had in my very advanced life.
The fish was dark brown and had obviously been cooked at least twice, the chips were cold, and old and hard. The peas just cam out of the freezer.
The staff were surley, slow and just didn't care.

Had lunch at EDC MOTO Exeter May 9th. Understaffed, all there were cooking, serving drinks, and taking payments. They did their best!!

A German coach party was waiting with us and even not understanding their language I knew they were disgusted. Our food arrived, the chips were inedible as were the peas. The company even has the cheek to charge for condiments. What a waste of money. Do not blame the staff, the management needs the sack. I will never eat at a EDC again, nor will anyone else I know.
:(

My family and I stopped at the Reading services for some breakfast yesterday morning on our way home. We ordered 4 cooked breakfasts from EDC - the bill coming to nearly £40. I feel totally ripped off - the good was overcooked, hard, greasy, tasteless and felt like it had been sitting there for a couple of hours (which it probably had).

To add insult to injury a member of staff, with very poor English, came to our table after we had sat down and paid and accused my husband of not paying the correct amount. Saying we had paid for a child's breakfast when it should have been an itemised breakfast. How would we know that? We had asked for a child's breakfast for our 8 year old! -and they could see what we had at the till?

All in all - very unsatisfactory and would NEVER eat there again. :(

EDC M6 absolutely appalling service even though I'm only person there. Meal deal advertises baguettes but at till told they don't qualify. Total rip off. Will never use again. Over £16 for 2 coffees 2 crap baguettes and a 20 minute wait to be served.

Had the misfortune to visit EDC at Reading services. I asked for the full english breakfast at 7am to be told that there was not enough food cooked to make one and the only food available was what was in the display counter. The display was disgusting, untidy and unclean with a couple of dried up sauages, a few rock hard pieces of black pudding and two pieces of bacon that looked as if they had been there for hours. At no point did anybody offer to cook more food.
The reply to my emailed complaint was totally unacceptable and said that food was being cooked fresh. THIS IS NOT THE CASE!!
I do not believe EDC should continue in business but clearly the management are powerless to do anything about it or maybe they just do'nt care.

Had to stop at Birch services - used the EDC, absolutely disgusting! Worked in Hospitality & was appalled at the food handling hygiene, cash handling & handling food, with no gloved hands!!! Asked for a bacon bap, told no bacon or baps at 12.27 in the afternoon! Was charged over £4.00 for a crap, cold, sausage thing! Asked for toasted bread, limp, cold & tasteless. Food Hygiene get yourselves down there!

Pulled in at Cherwell Valley in the hope of feeding three hungry, tired adults. Disgraceful in all points: food advertised was not available; food available was dried up; in desperation reluctantly accepted what was on offer: totally unpalatable and the prices a total disgrace. Shall never patronise them again, and advise business associates likewise.
