Went to the Hot Food Company (Restbite in disguise) at Strensham services. Of the five items on the menu, one of them wasn't available, and having taken my order it turned out that there weren't any chips at all either. Even so, my meal arrived in good time and was absolutely fine: it wasn't anything particularly memorable, but it was good enough to outlive the typical service station meal stereotype. At £6.99 it was overpriced, but given the quality and compared to other services it wasn't too bad.

Just tried to eat breakfast at the HotFoodCo. At Watford Gap services on the Northbound M1. It was probably one of the worst meals I have ever been served. Rubbery eggs, underdone bacon, chewy mushrooms, soggy toast and a hefty price tag of £8.99. Avoid at all costs.

On Monday 30th August 2010 went into Restbite! at Northampton. The staff were rude, the facilities a disgrace and the food was cold by the time the staff managed to process us through the tills. The food is awful, very poor quality and I wouldn't recommend anyone stop there - we had upset tums for 2 days afterwards!

Had food at the HOT FOOD COMPANY after ten at night last Thursday. The product was neither hot nor could it be described as food. Avoid at all costs. Staff were fine though. Chris Portsmouth 20th September 2010

I agree - I have never had such appalling food. Staff seemed completely demoralised, unsurprisingly.

Possibly the worst food I've eaten.
The fish was undercooked and gave me and my friend food-poisoning.
Avoid at all costs

I was very pleased with the food at the Hot Food co at Clacket Services. It was hot, there was lots of it and it was not too pricey. Keep these three things going and you'll do well. The staff were pleasant too. Thank you.

Had fish and chips from Hot Food Co. - was worst I've ever eaten and had stomach upset later. Will never eat there again.

Visited Hot food Company, Watford Gap North on Sunday the 20th February, 2011. Requested a cheeseburger, and 2 coffees. The female Assistant asked if I wanted what was advertised on the display, a burger in a bun, with cheese, salad and chips. I said, "No, thanku just a cheeseburger, a bun with burger and melted cheese"
She produced to me a dry bread bun, containing luke warm burger and a sprinkle of grated cheese, together with the two coffees.
She charged £12.00 for this. When asked about the riduculous cost for what was produced, she said "Well the cost is the same, without the chips and salad. That Bun was £7.99.
Need I say anymore?
The quality of the food and the concern from the staff was no match for the price of what was served on the plate!
Well, Hello, Will I eat there again! NO!
