I visited Leigh Delimere services yesterday. Some of the staff were all right but I did see this rather fat un-friendly looking woman walking around slowly putting stock onto the M&S Simply Food outlet's shelves. Also I thought the layout was a bit cluttered but if you're just going to Costa it shouldn't be too bad. Inside the toilets there were these not very nice strip lights and they didn't smell all that nice, however they were better than RoadChef toilets because the cubicles doors would lock. Also I found that the former Costa takeaway near the back which just did coffees is now in the side of the corridor. In it's place is a Dominoes Pizza. I would have taken pictures (obviously not inside the toilets) but I didn't have my camera with me. My overall thought - It felt cluttered.

A few years ago I went to Frankley Services Northbound. I thought it was very dingy and was one of the smelliest, most dirty sites I've visited. The place sort of reminded me of a prefab.

I visited chieviely services yesterday afternoon and fancied a Costa coffee as the hut outside wasn't busy I went there to get one as the young lady was makeing my coffee I was haveing a look around inside I looked over at the door to read an A4 bit of paper that must have been written from a supervisor or a manager or someone high staffed it said something that I though was descusting it was something like "if end of say isn't done disciplinary will take action!" I dont think it is a thing that all customers should see I think it is discusting and should be removed!

I've never heard such nonsense! I feel sorry for you but unless it's the Army you don't normally see anything like that.

I visted M & S food store last night at around 19:15 at the Stafford North Services and my wife and myself greeted at the entrace with a large paddle of water, not a small or shallow one, but quiet a large one. Our shoes were completely immersed in the paddle and ended up with wet feet.
Having complained to the lady behind the till, she simpley said there was a sign saying wet floor. How could that help us getting in or of the store when as said above in order to get or out we literally had to wet our shoes.
In my opinion they should have closed the store for 10-15 minutes until the floor has been wiped clean and bone dry.
This is totally unacceptable.

Before complaining about fines and/or parking charges.

Consider this...if you own the car but you weren't driving/parking it.

Contract Law
As you are parking on private land ie. Privately owned Motorway Services; it's the driver not the car owner who is liable because a contract to park is formed between the owner of the land and the driver.

You don't get a "fine", it's actually an invoice (dressed up to look like a fine, with pictures and all!)I got one sent to me because I'm the Registered Keeper..but I don't ever drive that car, it's my husband.

If you weren't driving, you're not liable for any charge and you've no need to say who was
driving. Let the Private Parking Company do the chasing...

Just search online for "not paying private parking tickets" there's heaps of stuff about it.

It is a shame that most customers who complain about Moto cannot spell properly.

I'm still surprised that people actually visit Severn View. What a sad sight it is! It's functional, but if you like to plan these things then it's probably best avoided as it is also cluttered and untidy. Very difficult to get out of too!

It's probably the best place to park for accessing the Severn Bridge, but be aware that the walk is a good 10 minutes.

You'd think it would be obvious. If people still visit the site after the new bridge takes traffic away from it, then it probably has very little to do with the facuilities that the services offers and everything to do with the view. Thus the obvious answer would be to capitalise on the view and build any new or downsized facilities around that. How did they get it so wrong?
