WHY WHEN I ORDER AN ICED DRINK AT COSTA, STARBUCKS OR ANY OF THEM DO I KEEP GETTING THE RESPONSE "WE HAVE NO ICE". DON'T ADVERTISE A WHOLE MENU OF THEM IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT!!!! :x

Yesterday I went costa at clarket north lane and this lady served me called SARA i asked for a small latte she offered me a medium i said no she still charged me for the medium size. I wasnt very happy with her customer service it was awful, she wasnt smiling at all. Hope next time to get a better person. But the coffee was perfect i have to say.

Costa quality varies so much from store to store, from day to day and from server to server. What started out as a lovely cup of coffee (the flat white) has turned into a disappointment much of the time. Too milky, too muddy or nothing but froth. Costa need to have more quality control.

I travel up and down the country on business and always stop and buy Costa coffee,I won't buy any other coffee as I can be sure of the quality of Costa, however, I only ever buy Costa Express as this always tastes the same, good quality, strong and smooth.

I recently stopped and bought a coffee from one of the Costa cafes at the services and it was awful, way too strong and undrinkable.

I think the issue seems to be with the training of the staff and how they make the coffee, whereas with a machine it always tastes the same.

Birch services Costa, a bacon bun for £3 no butter or margarine, a tasteless piece of dried up bacon. The bun itself was to their own recipe, ie dry and floury. The packaging had the cheek to say "passionate about food" !I would like to say the coffee saved the day but it didn't, it was awful. Never using that place again, I'll starve til I get home next time.

I bought four large coffees at wooley edge ...we didn't try them untill we were back in the car. They were totally undrinkable......consistency in costa has always been poorer than Starbucks but these ones were seriously bad....15 quid poured down the drain...I now await a reply from the general manager .i will post reply

My husband and I stopped for lunch at the Costa just north of Carlisle and were dismayed; while our sandwiches were fine, our coffees were barely hot and the slice of carrot cake was so unbelievably stale that when we touched it, it felt as hard as a piece of toast! My husband took the cake back as it was quite honestly indelible and was greeted with hostility when he asked for a refund. It took several minutes (15-20) to get this refund sorted as the staff 'did not know how the till worked' and the member of staff that finally sorted out the refund just thrusted the money at him without a word of apology.

Avoid this place like the plague!

Costa Coffee at Hilton Park services on the M6 is absolutely disgusting. Bins overflowing. They use dirty clothes to clean the coffee spouts. Clearly unwashed milk jugs in which they pour fresh milk. H&S would have a field day.
