gorgeous hot day today so i bought an iced vanilla latte at Chieveley services off the M4 - £2.55 for what was basically a cold milky weak coffee with a few ice cubes floating in it - without any vanilla flavour - very disappointed - crap coffee and indifferent service and a rip off for the price!

if you use the M27 (southampton) at night and the eastbound costa is closed, walk through the subway to get to the west bound COSTA that is open 24/7 ps the coffee is great and service with a smile:-)

I bought 3 cafe lattes at the costa today, i am a frequent costa coffee drinker and absolutely love their coffee at the St.Ives store in Cambridgeshire, however the coffee i bought today was nothing like that. The cups were half full the rest milk foam, they were cold and they tasted absolutely disgusting, DEFINITELY NOT the same coffee.... massive price hike for the coffee too, absolutely not worth it..... :(

My most recent visit to Costa at Wetherby was disappointing;the staff decided to clean the air conditioning grills late afternoon with a vacuum cleaner. Firstly by using a chair to stand on and then to gain more height by using a table. The milk and other containers were left open in the serving area; not very hygenic!!

Stopped at Costa Coffee in the Blyth Services - what a mistake to make. The tables were in a dirty sticky state due to all the sugar spread everywhere - the stink of dirty salad plates nearby was disgusting - the two lads serving were not coping with the clearing of tables - shall not bother to buy coffee from there again!! It was grim.

Personally, I avoid Costa like the plague - they claim to be "the UK's favourite coffee chain" but their drinks are not very appetising. The chain is very much like Tesco, there's too many of them... which means they lack quality as a result.

That might have been the same coffee, but it can vary from store to store in the way they make it. In some Costas I have had a panini and in some the way they cut it was different to others.

Stopped off at the Costa on west bound M27 (Southampton) Almost forced into purchase of medium vs small coffees and two buscuits where charged at £1.75 while in Crawley small purchased for £1.13 (still a lot but hey ho).

Will avoid stopping here in future.

Gritty mud, awful coffee that is no way Britains favourite coffee. Over priced and poor no matter where to buy it from. Coffee to avoid at all cost.
