Moto mention plans to re-do (now almost over I'd imagine) the cafes. If you ask me, it's all greasy-spoon-type salads! Bleh!

Called into Winchester South on Monday 30th April for 2 Jacket potatoes with Coleslaw and 2 coffees. Staff all seem to be Polish and speaking English does not appear to come easily when requesting anything. Lot of chit chat amongst themselves in Polish presumably trying to make sense of what you requested.
Anyway, No Coleslaw we were told, OK then two jacket Potatoes with Beans we said, We only have one jacket Potatoe came the reply.
Major company providing food for people on the move? Rubbish - Cheapskate outfit providing the poorest minmal service they feel they can get away with.

Visited EDC @ Tamworth services today and ordered All Day Brunch for myself and a Jacket Potato with beans for my wife, cost £15.16.The meal was cold and tasted disgusting and was completely inedible,I would not have fed my dog with it and she died 30 years ago!!Anybody thinking of eating there will feel better if they starve to death,at least they won't have paid for this disgusting rubbish!!

My husband and I visited EDC at Leigh Delamere about 19.45 on Wednesday 24rd June 2009. The chicken dish I chose was not available. I decided to have chicken tikka and rice but asked the girl not to put it out until my husband's chips were done which were being "freshly cooked". These were ready in a very short time. My chicken tikka and rice consisted of a small amount of rice and a spoonful of chicken and sauce. There were in fact 7 SMALL pieces of chicken so at a cost of £6.99 I work that out to be £1 per piece with a bit of rice and sauce. The portion was smaller than I would serve to my three year old grand daughter. As a foot note my husband's "freshly cooked" chips were only warm and his pie was the same. On our next trip to the west country we will certainly choose somewhere else to eat and would advise others to do the same!!

Too bloody expensive and poor service (Winchester Services). Won't be going back again. The McD related place at Fleet Services nearby was a lot cheaper with faster service.

Ferrybridge - visited 26 June. A horrible place - like eating in a hangar with cheap and nasty tables and chairs. Had 2 cafe lattes £5.58 ! and an all day brunch with revolting sausages and palid under cooked eggs - hopefully Wetherby will be an improvement.

After queueing for about 10 minutes in the EDC in Doncaster North, the board was changed from the breakfast menu to the main one. The woman in front of me was then served a breakfast, and when I asked for it as I'd been waiting so long for it I was refused, and talked to in an arrogant manner.. in the end got a Burger King instead.
Is it that much effort to say 'excuse me, is anyone waiting for breakfast? we wont be serving them now' when you change the board instead of ignoring the queueing customers?

had to stay at cardiff west on tuesday and wednesday. 1st and 2nd sept. Ate(or tried to) at the eat and drink co. the food was of really poor quality. the fish and chips was batter and chips. no fish was found. food was returned and replaced. ended up getting refund. everybody but especially lorry drivers who have no choice but to eat there deserve decent food and enough on their plates. the food was disgusting and very expensive. just because we have to eat there does not mean they can serve cold inedible food.
