Ordered a spicy chicken burger meal yesterday from Norton Canes services, I was in a rush so only opened my food once back on the motorway to find that I had been given a normal chicken burger, that was absolutely disgusting, it was slimy and stone cold, with nasty looking lettuce and awful bread, the fries were terrible also. I ate what as much as I could stomach as it was the only food I had eaten all day.
Needless to say I spent the rest of yesterday and night with a badly upset stomach, I was camping last night so was not a pleasant experience at all and ruined my weekend.
I would not recommend the Burger Company to anyone and it is disgraceful that the poor standard of food that they serve is allowed.
Go with the proper burger chains who can do it properly.

On the rare occasion that you allow yourself to junk food, you really want to be happy with it! We were all hoping for a Burger King but thought that this place looked ok. STOP, honestly the most over priced pathetic and tasteless burger and chips!! We we SO disappointed and then felt so sick... they have those really nasty cheap burgers and it looked as though someone had dropped my burger on the floor and chucked the whole thing back in with about 2 tiny slices of lettuce! Take 'em down!

Just finished a bacon and cheese burger from Sandbach. It was very tasty, if a touch overpriced. Served very quickly to boot. I'd be disappointed if this restaurant was replaced by yet another McDonalds. Looking at the reviews above though I appear to be in the minority.

i went to The Burger Company at Norton Canes on the 11th aug onway to Wales, i stood in the que for 20 mins but didnt know what i was going to buy as the menu board faces the staff and not the customers, when i did eventually get to the board i was rushed by the member of staff who served me so i just ordered 2 burger meals, OMG was an understatement, i was disgusted at how much it cost me £18 and it was disgusting, i get more for less at mcdonalds infact anywhere would be more for less, this place needs looking into very quickly, it may have a good turn around but thats because no-one knows what there getting when they get it,very very disgusted and i intend to take matters further.

Stopped at one of these in wales. Long wait, clueless staff, horrible environment and incredibly expensive tasteless burger that fell apart as i ate it. Will definitely not be visiting again. Avoid

Myself, my husband and son had a burger, chicken fillet and chicken nuggets at the Watford gap service yesterday (22/9/11) - Big Burger Company.
Well that is what we ordered we didnt eat hardly any of it as it was disgusting!
What a load of expensive rubbish, it tasted like it came from one of those dodgy burger vans.. I ate less than a 1/3 of the burger that was so thin it looked like it had been run over!!
Lazy staff, bad attitude, dirty tables..
Of course they do not care as its passing trade and they do not depend on repeat service.
AVOID..

Lunch today - Had 8oz double burger with chips and onion rings. Bun fell apart, burger like a cheap tinned one, and very expensive. Chips are tiny chinks of cardboard. Had the trots ever since. Never again.

stopped at killington lakes,never again staff surly food rubbish,if I ran my business like this I would'nt have one.Bring back WIMPEY>

if i had wanted a piece of cardboard between 2 pieces of carpet i would have gone to Carpet Right i dont expect to get it from a burger bar especially as we paid over the top prices.It was absolute shite soaked in a bottle of battery acid or you might call it cheap vinegar.I will never visit this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I paid about £6 for a cheese burger, chips and a coke. Being about three times what I'd pay in McDonalds or something I thought it might be a decent burger, but I took one bite of it and threw the rest in the bin. It was grey, rubbery, fatty, gristly rubbish, tasting of nothing except vinegar and something akin to cleaning chemicals. An utterly disgusting thing. And the chips tasted of rotten fish. Avoid.
