Hello, my truck stopped at your service station. The parking bill serial number was 5038. The driver paid 20 EUR. But he brought no bill with him. He had just that parking ticket where was a sum of 20 EUR written with a red marker. Is this supposed to be a bill?

I'm sorry, but I think you've misunderstood the point of this site. Motorway Services Online allows people to review different motorway services, but we are not directly associated with Welcome Break or indeed any service area operator. You would be far better off contacting Welcome Break at this address:

Even better - South Mimms has great access for cyclists too - being off the Great North Way. I always stop there on the way to and from Barnet :D

You will need to ask Welcome Break themselves.

Again, you'll have to ask Welcome Break, but I don't see why it can't be done in the WH Smith.

My friend only drinks hot water. I drink tea. 'Eat In' would not serve her hot water for health and safety reasons, but they served me the tea! My friend asked for a mug of hot water and a tea bag, which they WOULD serve. She then tore up the tea bag, gave it to them back and took the hot water. Am I going mad or is this really happening???

Stopped at South Mimms on way to Heathrow on 25th April 2009. It was daylight (altho' evening time) and we saw five rats running around out in the open near the sliding doors to the service station. A week later we returned and again saw rats with no obvious fear of humans happily wandering around the service area. We also heard other customers commenting on the number of rats.
