J3-4, 27th June

My visit through the M27 widening works on the 27th June, where work was well underway on the verges. Here's what it looked like:

Much fewer photos today, as traffic was too heavy to get any decent shots. Here, heading westbound down the hill, you can see that good progress has been made on the verges.

This sign will go as part of the roadworks and be replaced by a gantry.

This sign is much better than the one at Fareham.

Mud. Again, it was hard to get a photo which didn't show the back of a lorry.

More mud, although at least this time it looks like work is being done.

Heading eastbound now just after J3, and it's clear some excavation work has taken place here.

More vergeside works, next to the services. Apparently four lanes and a narrow hard shoulder will fit through here.
