Trivia:

The toilets at Gordano costed Welcome Break £1,000,000 to install. No wonder of site's are so bad!

Survey results:

The services won a five-star loo award in 2006 (the petrol station was rated four-star). These results were repeated again in 2007.

The site got top marks in Holiday Which? Magazine's survey in 2006, it was said to have "stylish toilets" and the food was "as good as a local curry house". It didn't come first though, Tebay on the M6 did.

The favourite hang out of the tea and pee brigade as they stop by on their coach journeys to the West Country. Always remembered it as not that bad when I last visited in the 90s.

Wednesday 11 September,2007 at 9 am visited Gordano on M5
Gents toilets smelt and were dirty (according to my husband)
Ladies toilets dirty. Bins full. No door locks on three. One very dirty toilet despite cleaner changing toilet rolls.
Door pegs missing and generally very unpleasant.
Breakfast bar staff not in right job. Very unhelpful left waiting a long time. Toast terrible and would not toast again.

One of those holiday saviours. The toilets are brilliant!
