Trivia:

Michaelwood (often misspelt 'Michael Wood', it's pronounced 'Mick-all-wood') is for some reason staggered and built to be as narrow as possible. Does anyone know why? It does, however, have some of the best entrance and exit slips found at a motorway service area.

The postcode given to us is the official one used by Welcome Break. I can't see how a better description than 'M5 junctions 13-14' is needed, especially given that it is signed by name from a mile away, sorting out any SatNav problems.

What you will probably find has happened is that your SatNav has not seen Michaelwood as a public road and has tried to send you to the country lane nearby.

It would be useful if a better description of the location of the Michaelwood Services was given AND a more accurate postcode. The current postcode, fed into a SatNav directs you to the areas behind the Northbound carriageway with a further few miles needed to find the entrance!
NOT satisfactory. :-X
We also found the restaurant area to be overpriced and not particularly clean.
