The eastbound services are slightly larger and they have the last of a few of the shops. Each site comes with a fair amount of open space behind the hotel, but they have been slated because of the tight corners on the exit sliproads and the poor car park layout.

Trivia:

Reading is located not too far from Chieveley, so much so that when it opened the signs for Chieveley were removed as there were fears that the junction wouldn't cope. Chieveley's junction has since been improved and the signs have gone back up.

It is thought that the services are built on an old landfill site(!)

Author: Message: Mikael Don't bother eating here. Go to the Marks and Sparks concession and buy some sandwiches/snacks there instead. It's slightly more expensive than a high street M&S, but you'll get much more for your money than in the service's 'restaurants' and, more importantly, it will be edible! Don't bother eating here.
