Trivia and History
The Ballinluig Inn was originally a pub. In 1970, Ballinluig Services established a petrol station and restaurant behind it, which continues to trade as a family business today. The Ballinluig Inn has gone onto become The Red Brolly Inn and is now the Ballinluig Hotel.
In 1996, the forecourt received a new shop building alongside the existing pumps.
In February 2019, the filling station closed for redevelopment works which included rebranding the site from its original BP branding to Gulf. The rebrand was marked with an official launch day on 20 April 2019.
