Better known as Jeremy's service station, this petrol station is the only significant feature of the Bolney exit on the A23.
Jeremys Service Station
Trivia and History
The petrol station was built next to the northbound A23 in the 1940s. At the time there was a Jeremy's Farm, which inspired Jeremy's Lane, Jeremy's Cottage and Jeremy's Corner - so Jeremy's service station seemed to make sense.
The Bolney branch of Little Chef was built here in 1981. In the 1990s the A23 was replaced by a new dual carriageway slightly to the east, which caused the Little Chef to close in 1993.
Fuel was provided by Texaco until 2010, when it changed to Esso.
