Changing Places at Motorway Services
The following services have a Changing Places toilet facility. This list helps power the search section.
Further details on each of the services can be found by tapping its name, however you would prefer to go to Services Search and tick the 'Changing Places' box, as it will allow you to further customise the search.
The first services to have a Changing Places toilet was the new Cherwell Valley, which opened in 2011. Following criticism that disabled toilet facilities at motorway services aren't comprehensive enough, in 2016 all three of the main operators agreed to provide Changing Places facilities whenever a refurbishment allows for it.
The last services to open without any disabled toilets at all was Scotch Corner in 1980. Things have come far since then, but still have a long way to go. There have been suggestions that the operators will be working together to ensure that, between them, the whole motorway network has a good coverage of accessible toilet facilities.
