Trivia and History
The service area and business park were developed during the 1990s. In 1997, OK Diner planned to build a restaurant here, but it was refused and eventually opened as the Wetherby Whaler.
The forecourt, which is the main facility here, is officially known as 'Spaceways'. The meaning of that name is not entirely clear. It was branded BP until 2013. It was then branded Texaco with a Co-operative Food shop, before becoming just a Co-op petrol station in 2018.
