Trivia and Design
The White House Transport Cafe itself replaced Ivy Cottage. It is positioned on the original alignment of the A30, which happens to be next to a junction with the new road.
A new car park was added in 2010 with an overflow area for use in the summer. It used to have a Premier store, which became Budgens and then Nisa Local. The store was rebranded back to Budgens in July 2020.
The restaurant here closed in February 2019 for refurbishment reopening in March 2019.
