16th June

The 16th June was day 150 of the M27 Widening roadworks, and good progress is being made. Here's what it looked like:

Joining eastbound at J11, where we weave our way on to the motorway.

It doesn't look like much has been done since May.

On the other side, there has definitely been lots of excavating there.

Right now lane one of the motorway is closed outside of peak hours and weekends, and this machine is used to move the temporary Varioguard barrier.

Lots of land piled up there.

When complete the live traffic will be running almost alongside this bridge support, so it's going to be engulfed by a concrete barrier to protect it.

And finally, this absolutely awful road sign has been put up whilst the permanent one is being replaced. The biggest problem with it is that it's absolutely tiny!
