Burger King unit at Charnock Richard, situated on the bridge-based food court, closer to Southbound. It was refurbished in around 2018 & is one of two food outlets on this bridge. BK shares a communal seating area with KFC. During my visit, Burger King was in low demand. BK is signposted from the M6, as well as lots around the site as it isn’t immediately obvious. BK opened in 1996 and replaced Little Chef, which was the first to open at a motorway services in 1982. Burger King opened at Welcome Break sites as they were acquired by Granada, who liked using the brand.
