Greggs unit and StarbucksOnTheGo stand within the ASDA express store at the forecourt at Willoughby Hedge. This forecourt here has been open since the 1940’s (the A303 quickly gained popularity during the 40’s) and was branded Shell. The forecourt was converted to Esso in the 2000’s and an “On The Run” shop and Costa outlet opened in 2007. In 2016, EG purchased this forecourt and kept it Esso, but the shop was converted to a SPAR, in addition to a Subway concession. Later, this Greggs unit was added, and Subway then got replaced with Rollover (not in pic). During 2023, the shop here changed from SPAR to ASDA express, not effecting this Greggs and leaving it here. Greggs isn’t obvious from the exterior of the garage, meaning it isn’t very busy at all. A useful offering here tho given Willoughby Hedge is limited on facilities.
