The New Pret A Manger outlet at Fleet Southbound, situated in the former Chopstix unit facing the seating area by other food units. Chopstix closed in May 2023 & Good Breakfast was refurbished to provide Chopstix in the afternoon only, leaving an empty unit, which was refurbished and opened in June 2023 as a Pret. Welcome Break now own 4 and only seemed to have opened more Prets as Moto have introduced them to their sites. Pret serves a similar purpose to Starbucks, serving light snacks and coffee for motorists. It doesn’t have its own seating, & this unit will definitely take trade away from Starbucks. It’s expected that Pret will spread across Welcome Breaks network. It’s interesting to note that this unit has been built further inwards, providing more space as it doesn’t require the kitchen space Chopstix had. Pret was moderately busy during my visit as was the services itself and Pret is now signposted from the M3 and is advertised lots around the site.
