Tapori Indian street food at Cobham, located opposite West Cornwall Pasty & next to WHSmith, within the food court area. Tapori occupies a small unit and is frequently overshadowed by other, better known brands at Cobham such as McD and Greggs. Tapori has traded at Cobham since 2019 when it replaced a small Indian food chain similar to Tapori called Wrapchic. Wrapchic traded between 2018-2019 and before 2018, it was Mint Leaves, which opened in 2014. Before that, this unit was part of a larger gaming arcade which was downsized in 2014. No other motorway services (except from here & it’s sister site Beaconsfield) have Indian street food takeaway units. Tapori has already outlived the previous 2 Indian street food brands & does make the front of Cobham services smell of curry! Since Chopstix recently opened at Cobham, they appear to have taken quite a bit of trade from Tapori, leaving this unit basically empty despite Cobham being an extremely busy place (especially on my visit today, 2 days before Christmas). Tapori isn’t signposted from the M25, but is included on advertisements around the site, such as totem poles.
