Exterior of the footbridge area at Medway, positioned directly over the M2. It’s smaller than other footbridge restaurant examples like Keele and Knutsford as the M2 only has 2 lanes each side. Medway is a good example of a 1960’s Motorway Services. Medway doesn’t have a distinct East/Westbound side, it’s basically two car parks serving one building with two entrances. The bridge exterior now looks quite dated and forgotten, but it remains as interesting architecture. Services buildings wouldn’t be built like this nowadays.
