The extensive Costa lounge towards the back of the amenity building at Birch Eastbound. It was refurbished around 2017 when M&S replaced EDC. Unlike some, this Costa has always been set amongst the food court and predominantly created one large unit when EDC traded from Birch East. Costa consists of its own seating as there is no communal seating at Birch East. Being at the back of the interior of Birch East means to reach this Costa customers pass essentially every other facility this site offers, with Costa competitors such as Greggs, meaning customers may miss out Costa but mostly customers don’t like Costa in the motorway because of its massively inflated pricing.
