Large communal seating area at Birch Westbound, appearing very bright due to the large glass walls. Before 2004, the seating area would’ve been similar to Eastbound & presumably quite a bit smaller. Most 00’s services buildings have large glass walls & spacious seating areas, such as here. Seating here used to be bright green, which is bizarre as this doesn’t match with Moto’s colour scheme at all. Seating here only serves Costa & Burger King, but customers of Greggs use it despite “not being allowed to”. Birch West was moderately busy during my visit, but this seating area being large means it can cope with significant influxes of customers.
