Starbucks Drive Thru kiosk opposite the car park at Fleet South. Unlike Northbound, it’s a new built, but opened at a similar time (during 2012). It’s an important facility here as it means motorists don’t have to stop & enter the amenity building, making this much quicker. It’s a large restaurant-style building with its own seating, contrasting to the Costa Drive Thrus which are solely takeaway kiosks. This also serves to be an additional Starbucks, giving customers an “overflow” when the amenity building is packed during summer periods. Fleet was one of the first Welcome Break sites to introduce a drive thru Starbucks. During my visit, this drive thru was basically empty despite being signposted from the motorway as a Starbucks drive thru, but it might be that customers don’t want to pay the extortionate prices.
