COVID-19 update: Most service stations are open with fewer facilities. General advice here.

Trivia and History
In around 1989 a pair of Little Chefs opened at the start of the brand-new Towcester Bypass. They were slightly offset, and the larger northbound one exited onto the roundabout, while the southbound one was built across the historic alignment of the A43. The southbound one was further from the road to allow space for the A43 to be dualled.
A northbound McDonald's was later built in the gap between the petrol station and the roundabout.
The southbound branch closed in around 2005 and became a branch of local restaurant chain 'Buddies USA Diner'. The petrol station closed too, and all the signs calling it a services were taken down. The southbound signs now take people to the northbound side. In January 2019, Buddies USA Diner closed and the restaurant is now up for sale.
The northbound Little Chef closed in August 2017 and reopened that October as a Starbucks.
