Brackley Service Station
Trivia and History
Plans for a service area at this location date back to 1986 where outline planning permission was granted for a trunk road service area with a petrol station and restaurant.
In the late 1980s, several plans were drawn up by BP for the site which for a time included a restaurant, motel and business facilities to all be built alongside the filling station. In 1990, BP settled for just a filling station and this was built and opened in around 1991.
In December 2020, planning permission was granted for 2 bp pulse electric vehicle charging points to be installed. These are expected to go live in 2021.
