Trivia and History
This was one of the first Happy Eaters, built on a site called Rest-A-While in the late 1960s, adjacent to the crossroads which is now called Woodsbridge Roundabout. It was converted to a Little Chef and was re-built in 2001, becoming a hotel with a tiny restaurant area.
Despite its size, for a short while it was a Little Chef Choices site, which saw it offer Caffè Ritazza and Harry Ramsden's too.
The restaurant closed in 2017. After some deliberation, it was changed to a Greggs. A Subway then later joined the site.
