Euro Garages operate the filling station
This is a large service area with several buildings, built on the bypass, to replace facilities which were no longer accessible. The Little Chef (known as the Oswestry branch) gained a Burger King, and in 2002 became a Little Chef Choices
which saw it gain a Harry Ramsden's
and Caffe Ritazza
. Those were later removed, but Coffee Tempo!
Euro Garages acquired the forecourt and began adding their own catering facilities, providing a wide range of choice here. In 2017 Euro Garages acquired the restaurants, and are expected to close the Little Chef.

Although Rhoswiel is next to the northbound carriageway, it is technically possible to use it when travelling southbound. However, as the right turn has contributed to a number of accidents, signs and markings try to discourage it and persuade southbound traffic to continue on to Mile End.
