Trivia:
Chester is one of two services to open on the M56 recently, and it's the last one as you head west as both the M53 to Birkenhead and the A55 to Wales don't have any 'proper' services, but the latter does have some small ones.
Chester services were originally a 'rest' or 'picnic' area, although they only really consisted of a gravel car park.
